Worst cooktop ever I have used it for less than a week and the discoloration already started. It is slow and pans doesn™™t fit well fir some reason.

This cooktop works extremely well and looks great too. I would like to see the top grilles on hinges for easy cleaning; removable for the diswasher. Also, the gas cotrol knobs that require pushing the knob down to turn on the igniters and gas (safety feature).

Easy to install. The burners are different sizes. I knew this but why would all the burners not be the same size? This cooktop cooks differently, seems to take longer than the old cooktop. One burner seems to take a few minutes longer to lite than the others, but we are dealing with it.

Ordering the stove top online did not work for me. It was the correct size, but the installers could not install it in the space where my current one is. Maytag was easy to deal with but I did not realize that I needed a plumber who installs to help me to choose the stove top that you be installed in the space that I have even though both were 30 inch. The installers returned the stove top. I would like confirmation that I was not charged for it.

Upon installation of my cooktop, one of the burners would stop igniting. Cleaned parts as instructed by manual, but it still would not work correctly. Tried contacting Maytag for 2 weeks with no luck. Company I purchased product from was able to finally get a response from them, but the issue has not been resolved yet. Just disappointed in overall product and customer service to this point.

We bought Maytag cooktop for a month and we love that it has total 4 burners in that 2 are large burners which eases us to cook dishes at once. We are really happy with the most cost effective and low maintenance cooktop. I strongly recommend this product and glad that we have this at our house.

The cooktop is good but the on/off knobs are in a place where is you place anything on too of the cooktop which over extends in the front it causes the burners to start clicking/spark to ignite. I think a definite safety issue

I just moved into a brand new house and am replacing this stove top. The design is terrible. Why would the big burners be in the back? I cook all the time and I™™m really struggling with this, I could count on one hand how often I use the simmer burner and it™™s in the front. I have trouble frying eggs evenly. The knobs are way too high. Every time something touches them a burner goes on. Im a senior and this scares me. Also, I can™™t get the sticker off the front right burner. Im afraid I™™m going to scratch all the stainless steel. This product definitely needs a redesign.

Recent purchase would have given 5 stars except two things I've noticed two outside controls knobs are leaning at an angle and this causes them to also not line up with the silkscreened off position indicator on the base but maybe Maytag could answer this but overall, I'm happy with the performance of the cooktop one last thing it would be nice if one of the large burners were up front but it just takes time to get used to the burner layout.

Waited months for this product. So glad I did. Replace a 14 year old Whirlpool cooktop which was working but the design of this Maytag is so updated. Had Maytag or Whirlpool for over 50 years. The best!

My purchase was due to a remodel. I did not know that a higher quality cooktop would make such a difference. The burners heat up quicker. The cooktop is so much easier to clean. Quality really makes a difference.

I love my stovetop. It is easy to clean and the grates are like new.
A great feature is the stovetop is completely sealed...& mouse proof!!
Our last stovetop...not a MayTag was not completely sealed and we had lots of
issues with mice looking for winter warmth under our stovetop.

Love my new cooktop. Easy to clean and the grates are heavy duty.
My only complaint is a design issue- the knobs stick up above the top of the grate, so if you put a sheet pan from the oven on the cooktop to cool it may press the knob to the light position.

I've had this stovetop a couple of months. Due to the height of the grate, it takes forever to heat anything on the stove. Also, the tops of the knobs are above the level of the grate and get accidently hit when placing pots. No large burners in the front.

I have been using this cooktop for about a year and has been very happy with the features, ease of use and quick access to the top of the range for cleaning. The stainless steel surfaces are very easy to clean.The grill is cast iron and has a very solid look and feel. The sleek look goes well with the rest of the counter and other appliances in the set. Had MAYTAG for 15+ years and now replaced with this new set.

This is a great looking stove top. But there are two design issues. First the main burner is at the back, which made cooking not very convenient. Second, the distance between the burner and grates is too big. This causes not only less efficient cooking, but also surrounding areas so hot. The handle in microwave above the stove is too hot to touch. The stove came with the house purchased 5 months ago. Now I need to replace it due to these two issues unless I can get different grate to lower the grate height to solve ine issue.

I have had my Maytag 30" cooktop for a month and have really put it to a test. I am a farm wife who cooks from scratch every day and at this time of year I am canning every day. The power burner was great for heating up canner of water and actually canning the produce. Much faster than the Electrolux cooktop I previously owned
