I love the large glass door, multiple drying options, and quality products used in the construction - like the metal door latch when other manufacturers use plastic. The dryer does a great job!

I bought this dryer about three months as my existing whirlpool dryer had almost died as it served me for 15 long years without fail. It was a great machine. As I started to look for new dryers I just could not resist the temptation to go for my old love that is another Whirlpool dryer with unique microelectronics features. The dryer is running like a horse and my entire family is happy with my choice to go back to Whirlpool. It is blending in with Whirlpool Washer that I replaced about two years back. Now both washer and dryer are in full cry and do their job incessantly. The timing of replacing each unit was good to get the rebate of more $250 on each unit. That adds value.

I've had my new Whirlpool gas dryer for about three weeks. I had my Whirlpool Duet for about 12 years. I like it. It works just fine. Some things I've noticed that are not necessarily improvements...the lint trap seems very chintzy and it feels like I could break it every time I go to put the lint trap back in the holder. My old Whirlpool Dryer came with a drying rack that went in the dryer...this one did not.
Other than those two things, the dryer definitely dries the clothes!!

I am very happy with my appliance which is made of real metal, not cheap plastic like my previous appliances. The quality is excellent and it runs quietly and holds a good amount of clothes. Also like the cycles I am able to choose from including bulky. Gentle on clothing

I bought the matching front load washer and dryer. Within one week, I had a service call on the washer followed by another service call. Now I moved over to the dryer and I am scheduling a second service call for the dryer. They are 5 months old.
These are the loudest washer and dryers that I've ever owned!

I love the dryer. Hope it lasts as long as the previous Whirlpool dryer (14 years). My previous dryer still works but I wanted to have a new dryer that matches my old washer that did quit working after 14 years. I wish it sat a little higher. I didn't purchase the stand because it was more than I wanted to spend but will maybe add it later on.

Upgraded both washer and dryer to catch up with the new century. Both appliances work on the same premise which makes learning how to use both much easier. My laundry has come out cleaner and fresher. I love that they are eco friendly and conserve energy. I have gotten more comfortable with each use.

I've had this new dryer for over a month now. The drum is big, a feature that I appreciate, as it holds a lot of stuff, even more than one wash load. I bought it to replace my old Whirlpool Dual Sport dryer. I was delighted that the new dryer fit well on the old dryer's base drawer, which saved me from having to buy a new one. The only thing that should be changed on this dryer is the "end cycle" signal, which is an anemic chime. There are three volume levels to the chime, which are, basically, (1) Nearly inaudible whisper, (2) Faint whisper, and (3) Whisper. No way can I hear it anywhere outside my laundry room. The levels, which you can set, ought to be (1) Whisper, (2) Shout, and (3) Klaxon. (I would set mine on klaxon!) On the highest level, I should be able to hear the signal from any room in my house, but I can't.

We were encouraged by the salesman to get a from loader and I wish we hadn't. I requires bending over to load and unload, and has less capacity than a top load. It also takes more time to dry.

This dryer works well and has a lot of options for drying different types of loads. I appreciate having the ability to set a timed dry when I don't want to use one of the preset options. My only complaint about this dryer is that the sound that signals the load is complete is way too low. I can't hear it at all from another room, and that's with it set on the highest setting. I like to get my clothes out of the dryer immediately after the load is dry, so it's important to me to be able to hear it.

This one replaced an old dryer that filled our house with natural gas. We like this one much better, and our chance of survival is considerably improved. It takes awhile to dry a load but does the job well otherwise.

I just purchased this whirlpool and I am not that happy with it. I replaced it with an older model which lasted 10 years. This dryer does not dry as good as my old one, nor does it have a sensor which when you program your clothes to dry if they do not dry in the allotted timeframe my old dryer would add time automatically until they were dry. This dryer does not have that option.Also when you press start you have to hold the key until it reads 3-2-1, which is annoying. I have also bought whirlpool, but i am not so sure in the future i will.

I have used Whirlpool front load W&D for 5 years. When I bought my new home, naturally I continued with Whirlpool. Surprised when my first load of delicates came out snagged! The inside of the drum has rough holes not like my old one (I still have access to it). Whirlpool has provided good customer service and has ordered a replacement. I won't switch brands but suggest consumers to check before installing.
