It™™s been 5 years and my Whirlpool dryer and it is still going strong! With three adults and two teenagers (add in grandkids that come to stay all the time) it has continued to keep up with all of our needs. From bulky comforters, a half dozen large beach towels - plus extras towels, other family needing to dry because their dryer broke down, and when 8 of my family members caught Covid in 2021 my husband was drying loads of laundry from three different households all most 24-7 for two weeks! We maintain the vent in the back occasionally and that™™s it! Still going strong and pleased to share we have not had a single problem. Needless to say we love our Whirlpool dryer and are so happy that we decided to purchase it.

It™™s been a long time since I had a new dryer, and appliances have really changed! my new dryer can be operated from my phone, has many drying selections and is quiet compared to my old model. the price was reasonable especially with all the features it offered. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MODEL & MANUFACTURER.

Lots of choices when it comes to drying clothes. Need to make sure you choose your settings - especially for towels or a load of jeans - or they won™™t be dry.

I recently bought this dryer., on 8-16-2023, it has the steam feature haven't had a chance to use it, but the drying system is very efficient, and the controls are very simple to use this dryer sits next to a Maytag washer, so really they are cousins I read that Whirlpool is made by Maytag so you are buying good quality when you buy Whirlpool.

I bought this dryer a couple of weeks ago and it's working well so far. I love the fact that the front door is at the height it is and does not require so much bending as my previous one. The app helps alot too.

I bought matching washer and dryer from Costco. Both were delivered and remained in box until months later when laundry room remodel was completed. Dryer stopped blowing warm/hot air after a month of use. Similar reviews have indicated this is a reoccurring issue. Very disappointed after spending thousands on two new whirlpool laundry machines. I love the features but is worthless if it doesn™™t dry your clothes.

I purchased this new dryer because my other dryer™™s thermostat went out. It arrived 2 days after I ordered it at Costco. Delivery and set up were great. I had laundry to do immediately and didnt even need the manual to get the dryer going.

Our dryer didn™™t work pretty much off the bat. We did get it repaired and it™™s been working since, but I™™ve found the sensor that is supposed to tell if the clothes are wet never works so I stick with timed dry. That does the trick, but for a fairly expensive deyer disappointing. I do appreciate the capacity and in a low profile size and the hamper door is great.

After only a few days of use, the dryer stopped heating. The sensing function does not work . . . after 3 hours our towels were still damp. Every time we checked on them, no heat, the towels were cool to the touch. The display would read "Sensing" for 45+ minutes . . . how long does it take to sense a load. And no, we did not over crowd the drum. Very discouraging after less than a week of ownership.

Purchase the dryer as part of an offer from Costco that also included a washer. So far I am very impressed with the unit. The features and how well made seem to be. It looks very solid. Only time will tell if I am correct. My last dryer was already in used when I put the home and it lasted for 27 years after with only having to replace the belt that spins the drum.

I™™d like my old whirlpool dryer better because it didn™™t have so many buttons written directions are not good and I went on YouTube and it doesn™™t have my model. The regular doesn™™t dry my clothes well and I have to put it on heavy duty.

Two years in my house. No problems. Lots of features. I really like the steam setting when I leave clothes in the washer too long; adding moisture to the cycle gets the clothes ready. I always use the wrinkle free setting.

What we liked: good solid dryer; dries and is environmentally friendly.
What we didn't like: It regularly tells us to clean our exhaust vents. The vents are old, but not clogged.
The top slopes forward, and is not flat like every other dryer we have owned. My wife put her phone on it, and it fell so now we need a new phone. Sloping top seem like a bad idea. People like to set things on top of washers and dryers.

I will learn how to set the controls to actual dry clothes. The first several loads were dryish, but not what I am used to. The automatic cycle is so miserly with energy that, even with the Eco setting off, the clothes come out dampish. Like the low flush toilets we are mandated to use, this unit puts ™conservation above full function.

I've only had this about a month but so far it has beat all my expectations. It is so quiet that you barely hear it. The space inside is phenomenal, drying large blankets etc will no longer be a problem. As usual, whirlpool has put out another great product. My last one lasted about 12 years, yea Whirlpool.

Bought this for our new home, through the builder. Runs well and looks good in our laundry room. Door opens down which makes it a little more difficult to get clothes out of the dryer but a minor inconvenience. Previous dryer door opened to the side and kept closing, even though dryer was balanced.

I bought this set during the Memorial Day sale at Costco and I™™m so glad I did. Everything was installed for me and they took away my old LG washer and dryer. Features that I like: large load capacity, quiet while on, easy to use, and fast dryer settings. I™™m short (5™0™™) so when I have to get the clothes out of the washer, it™™s a little of a struggle to get those last items at the bottom. If the washer had an agitator, it would have been better. But it still washes clothes and towels amazing. I would recommend 100%.

Whirlpool use to be the best appliance on the market that is why I purchased. How disappointed I have been in my last 4 purchases. Gas range (the range door has buckled) microwave the top by the vent buckled in my last use, the washer is the nosiest ever and the load and Go stopped using as it seemed never to work.

We purchased this dryer a few weeks ago. It was easy to install & is operating well. The lint catcher seems to stop most lint from passing through to the motor, which was not a good feature on our past dryer that was only 2 years old (Electrolux).
